Logi Symphony - Software as a Service (SaaS)

Logi Symphony SaaS offers you the extensive data analytics capabilities of Symphony without needing to manage the day to day back-end upkeep of security, upgrades, and feature implementation. Designed to scale for your needs and provide a seamless onboarding experience, use Symphony directly, or as embedded components in your own environment. Start at a size to suit your current organizational needs, and expand as your requirements grow.

Your Symphony environment is hosted as a secure Kubernetes instance installed and managed by insightsoftware. We take care of the maintenance, including uptime, version upgrades, licensing, features management, security, and more.

Maintenance and Administration

Run Symphony without maintaining dedicated hardware, operating systems, or manually managing Symphony upgrades. We'll keep your instance backed up and work with you to make available your disaster recovery plan.

Make the most of your separate development and production environments to manage your content and applications:

  • Use your development environment to stage and test new access options, features, access for external applications, connections, dashboards and visualizations, and data sources. Trial Symphony upgrades before they go live to your production environment.

  • When ready, publish content and resources from your development (staging) instance to your production instance. If you've been testing an external application, simply update the applications to point to your production environment.

Security

We ensure your data is secure and not accessible by anyone outside of your environment or authorized insightsoftware support personnel. All sensitive credential data is encrypted, as is data in your apps and warehouse (at rest and in transit).

You define what you can and can't get through to your environment: specify a whitelist of egress endpoints as needed to return data to a specific web services, or access to external data sources through our secure gateway. If you use Symphony to embed components in your own application, you can make necessary changes to cross origin resource sharing (CORS) while maintaining your content security policy (CSP).

Important: Some Symphony features are restricted in your SaaS environment. These restrictions are generally related to use of custom extensions, tenant warehouse overrides, and some transforms for managed dashboards. This also extends to settings and features that insightsoftware maintains on your organization's behalf.
