Multi-Tenancy in Symphony

Multi-tenancy allows administrators to easily create and manage tenants. Each tenant has its own complete set of administrators, users, and groups.

One use of a multi-tenant instance is for a SaaS solution provider who wants to enhance their software BI and analytics capabilities by integrating Symphony content. Additionally, you can deploy a multi-tenant instance to deploy a client-facing portal, or to support a large internal deployment that requires complete isolation between different departments or lines of business.

Important: You must have the appropriate licensing from insightsoftware to see this option.

There are several steps you'll take to deploy multi-tenancy in your environment. Create the tenant in Symphony, define an admin user for the tenant, create the tenant project, set up access to their data discovery connector, and create users within the tenant.
